Cassia cinnamon’s strong flavor and versatile applications make it an indispensable spice in kitchens, traditional medicine, and even modern industries. However, while it is highly beneficial, regular consumption in large quantities should be monitored, as it contains coumarin, a compound that may affect liver health if consumed excessively.
